FRAMES & MOUNTS

The picture Frames we use are half inch natural wood.

All our mounts are cut from high quality Arqadia whitecore mountboard. This is specially treated so the bevel will stay white for the life of the board (on lower-grade mountboard, the bevel tends to go brown after a few months).

Mounts are available in three colours Pale Pink, Pale Blue and White.

Quality acrylic is used for the glazing as this is more child friendly than glass and has less chance of being damaged in transit.

PRINTING PROCESS

All of our pictures are printed using the latest Giclee printing methods using inks that are guaranteed to last a lifetime. This process produces fabulously rich colours.

It differs from traditional lithographic prints, in that it yields a higher resolution, thus producing a much wider colour spectrum. The results are deep, saturated colours, and excellent detail, almost impossible to tell from an original. The images can be stored digitally, thus enabling images to be produced in small quantities, even one at a time, impossible with the more traditional methods.

PICTURE PERFECT

Please note when choosing your photographs where possible please try and choose a close up picture of your child, preferably a head and shoulder shot. This will make for a better quality finished picture.

Once you have purchased a personalised photo picture, an email will be sent to you directly with information on how to email your photographs.

COLOUR VARIANCE

Every computer screen will display the images slightly differently. So with that in mind, we would like our customers to be aware that although we strive to represent our artwork in the truest possible way, there may be some colour variance. This is due to differences in monitor types and calibration. It is, therefore, not possible to be 100% accurate on colour matching when comparing the images you see on the website and the final print. We are, however more than happy to assist you by email or over the phone should you need further clarification or information about our products.
